Well, today is the two year anniversary of Something Different.
Whoopie!!
Did someone make me a cake? Someone should have at least made me a cake?
Okay, fine I don’t need a cake. I’ll go treat myself today for having a blog for two whole years and actually posting new, but bad material on a semi-consistent basis.
Actually, for the last few weeks I’ve been treating myself to lot’s of bad food. So, I don’t think I’ll do anymore treating.
Hmmm…let’s see…
Ummm, oh, I know! I will reflect on how I have changed over the last two years…
Well…I haven’t grown more compassionate, although I do care more about certain issues than I used too. Ummm…
Oh, oh! I now live in Miami.
Gosh, that’s weak. You mean the only thing that’s changed about me is my address? That’s so weak!
Eh, but it’s all I got.
So, ummm…

Dammit, Reese! How can you have a blogtacular without the best of the best easily linked for my reading pleasure?
Unlike birthdays, Blog-days are supposed to be much more work for the blog-ee, and with little or no feedback. Less like a birthday, more like a vow renewal.
But damn if I ain't jealous. I wish I had started a little bit earlier so that I could have a blogiversary, too. Silly me -- I waited until the new year. Come Jan, 07, I will also completely disregard my few messages to the world in favor of copping out. This I swear!
But not really.
Congrats, Reese! 2 years, all kidding aside, is a real testament to your blogging faith. Most don't survive the initial post, I'd wager. Man, I love your blog, always have. Never dissapoint me by leaving (no stress, there, clingy! Sheesh!)

Ahhh the blog birthday...enjoy. I feel good knowing by blog is getting older...unlike when I get older and my only goal is to live past the age the black males are killed or incarcerated.
